A hasp and staple is an excellent over-centre latching solution for small doors, locker and storage box lids. The hasp is fitted to the door or lid and the staple to the non-moving frame. This type of over centre catch is also ideal for applications where a seal needs to be compressed when closed. The hasp is able to reach over-centre to engage with the staple and the two elements are pulled together when closing the latch.

The hasp is available in two versions, with or without lock.
